Okay. I feel what many people on here is foolish. You don't like something, don't click on it. But whatever. Flame me, I don't care. But to completely bash the fuck out of my fucking fiancee and then discriminate against gays? Um. No. I'll be on DA, a place full of nice people. Wow. What a mistake in joining this place. No one has talent on this site anyway.
Dislikes: Comedies. Band. People who can't spell or spell words weird (took me long enough to get over Alyssa's spelling). People who hate horror. Preps. The "emo" trend. Drugs. Writer's block. The city.
Don't encourage something so tasteless, and even engrossing to bondage enthusiasts.
Though, someone of your caliber would surely defend someone like this.
Who's wasting time typing what?, and what does me "wasting my time typing this" have to do with anything?
Learn to put out a proper response before you attempt one.
Kthx.
I'm a crusader of drama; a paladine of the encyclopedia; I am the white-knight of critique and straight-forward honesty.
Bad art is bad art.
End of discussion.
I "acted" younger, simply because it's the way I troll. :[
=/ I wouldn't insult art that at least some effort was put into. I'm sorry, but this person's photographs were (not only tasteless with a horrible model) hardly even...auhfauaf. There was no real set-up to the photos, the subject was kind of off center in a way; there was no lighting adjustments, no real setting or scene to add some sort of mood to the picture...and they had timestamps on them. They might not have even been taken with a NEWER digital camera, for Christ's sake. That, and I was also in a prime mood to troll. Gets a lot of anger out. ;]
Anyway.
Your work.
Classified: Average as compared to SheezyART talent and DeviantART talent.
You're not bad; but you have a long way to go. Don't take me as elitist; anyone can give very good critique, regardless of their personal skill. They have an eye for things you will never have; because you can't look at your own work the way someone else does.
Try something more original, I see a lot of fanart.
Original Characters are (though I'm biased towards them) a lot more helpful when you're trying to learn in a less... study-intensive way.
I don't quite know what you're going for - are you looking to draw more cartoonish-anime, or heavily detailed and accurate anime? Or are you looking for more of a realism type?
Learning proper human proportion is very important, even to the anime artist/mangaka. All anime does is take shortcuts through proper proportions and expressions. This even goes for backgrounds and scenery.
I hardly ever judge something by what I like and dislike, my personal taste is a biased opinion.
Maikeru17.deviantart.com to take a look at my work. I'm uploading some stuff back on to Sheezy (I took it all down to troll), so if you want to see anything from me that's worth looking at, go to my gallery here instead. My dA has everything, however. Sketches, WIPs, etc.
The only way an artist can get better is if their work is torn apart by others.
you know, ill look into your work on deviantart then. as for original characters go, i actually have a ton, and usually put them into comics.
its all up on my deviantart.. http://rayadayag.deviantart.com/
im actually just using sheezyart for bondage pics, cause its lacking, and i want to see their comments to this kind of art. hope you take a look at my deviantart as well :)
I just hate ridiculous responses and didn't mean to be your tail. Stupid responses are a pet peeve of mine, you could say.
As for the pictures, I find them horrendously distasteful. I would love to see them removed from this site for the simple fact that nobody needs to be seeing a 16 year old girl so scantily clad. It's borderline illegal, I'm sure.
They're just a few among many on Sheezy. The quality of art on this site is pretty medicore (no insult to you, my art isn't so great, either. maikeru17.deviantart.com if you feel like checking).
However, they're a bit of an abomination to bondage fetish photography; they even have the date stamp in the corner. It's effortless. I could take better, more involved pictures with my iPhone. =/
Ha ha! I'd love to progress in my art, but there's no help here. I can't progress if people aren't pointing out what I'm doing wrong, and it's becoming increasingly more evident that this community is useless. It's just a popularity contest, like myspace, sadly.
And they are effortless. They're just uploading random images that have no artistic merit. It's annoying when, like you said, it even has the time stamp in the corner.
Depending on what you're looking to improve on, I'd say learning how to "properly do it" first would be a good way to start.
Knowing how things work before you start changing them around (e.g bending the rules of proportion or using raw complementary colors for extreme and odd shading techniques) is probably a good idea.
No one likes giving critique on most art sites like sA and dA because 99% of the community is actually uneducated. Even the artists whom are actually good at their craft have most likely not been formally learned in basic art techniques.
No one gives critique, because then they'll get critique in return, and if you dare try to give someone critique on one of these sites they FREAK out and get all "but it's my style".
It's pitiful, really.
"Their style" meaning a combination of Sonic, Naruto and Johnny the Homicidal Maniac.
I would love critique on my own work and occasionally get someone who gives it. I'll be the first to admit that there is tons of progress to be made on my part. Music is my art, and there's not many sites devoted to critiquing such a thing. There's not too many active music communities that I could find. And mostly all I received from this site was "great job" or "This is farking awesum!!!!1!!1!" I don't even know why I stay here. Maybe it's the free file hosting. I do know that I'm fairly inactive and the only thing I've done lately is argue with people. Maybe I should quit before that's ALL I do.
Too many times have people chewed me out for giving honest to god feedback on their work. But, unlike me, what most people here are looking for are those same comments I've gotten loads of. "GREAT JOB!"
Everyone's pampered; and scared of not being the best, but they don't understand how to become the best.
The only way for an artist to get better is to have their work torn apart repeatedly. To these people, art is just a hobby, not a craft or skill or trade.
I don't know much of making music, so I really don't see how I could critique your work myself, but perhaps I'll try to get around to listening to some of it. ;3
It's a general statement. I stand by that statement. I hate people when they act like morons. I hate when people think it's fucking okay to post pictures of underage girls in their underpants on an internet site intended for people as young as 13. I think it's sickening that that same 16 year old girl is obviously sexually active. (as is the majority of 14-18 year olds) I think you're absolutely fucking insane to think it's okay to have, essentially, soft core child pornography on this site.
But just because I'm saying this shit doesn't belong on this website does not mean I say that their relationship is shit. I don't care if they're straight, gay or bi. The fact is, is that there is a 16 year old girl in her panties on an ART site intended for 13 year olds. Post this shit somewhere else.
You sir, fall into the category of people I dislike. Your response was again lame. I honest to god hope that you're page is lying when it says you're 20. I would honestly expect more sensibility out of someone your age. If you're seriously watching this person because of their underage girlfriend in bondage pictures, then you are a fucking creep and you sicken me to a point that not many people have.
They are and I don't really care. They aren't opening their eyes. Plus, if they don't like it, they shouldn't click on it. So they're morons =)
Aww, thank you so much.
your alot more brave then me, thats for sure lol.
im into bondage also, but im a guy lol, its a weird taste, but some like it and have fun with it, and thats cool :)
good to talk to you.
lol It took her awhile to be able to do this. We at first had only gas masks and chains but we're doing better with a camera present.
It was good to talk you too =)
She's not a dumb bondage cam whore.
She's an idiot that doesn't know what bondage photography is all about; nor does she understand what makes photography an art, so she fails again.
It has nothing to do with being a cam whore.
Understand their point of view before making assumptions.
_/ <--A seat.
Take it.
:] This is trying an artform and failing miserably.
Like making up a dance without knowing first how to dance in the style of which you're making your dance in.
What would you call that? Shaking-your-body-around whoring?
